Direction

By Robert Longley

Drive a stake and set your sights
Scaling mountains – reach new heights
Take your dream and build a plan
You’ll find some help from a new man

Bring together all your thoughts
And early lessons you were taught
Find that one thing that brings joy
A new direction, thought or toy

Freedom gives you much to do
As you explain the inner you
Use your hands and use your minds
To chart direction that you find

Once you set your course – your sails
The chance is slim you would/could fail
So pick a path and paint it yours
You need only pick to start your chores
