Now, little children, you and I
Have walked beneath the autumn sky;
With old Jack Frost in wintry land
We’ve gone together hand in hand.
In spring we’ve plucked the daffodil
And buttercup on every hill;
And now in summer you and I
Must close the book and say goodbye
