Pickmeuppoetry.org is always on the lookout for new guest writers, authors, and individual bloggers to submit their high quality articles.
The bulk of our fans are students who want to improve their poetry writing abilities. We also cater to lovers of poetry, literature and the arts at large.
We only publish original articles. (not previously published anywhere else, including your own site)
There should be no spelling or grammatical mistakes in the content.
Give your readers a clear takeaway or lesson. Make your writing more organized by using headings, subheadings, and numbered lists/bullets.
To substantiate your thoughts, knowledge, and arguments, include facts, research, sources, or personal tales with external links (no less than 3).
Link to pickmeuppoetry.org’s published articles where appropriate.
Your post should be original and distinct from articles already posted on pickmeuppoetry.org. or elsewhere on the web.
Authors are encouraged to submit photographs or videos as part of their submission. Authors are responsible for securing permission from outside sources to use images/videos and/or any other content. If you use photos or videos in your article, they must be of excellent quality and include source citations. Only use images/videos that you own or that are in the public domain (and be sure to credit your source).
Use short paragraphs, no more than 3-4 sentences per paragraph.
We reserve the right to edit the content you submit but this will primarily be done to correct errors or make the content more readable.
We will not accept press releases or sales pitches; False product reviews, advertorials.
An author bio and high-quality photo should be included with all final manuscripts. The author bio should be between 40 and 50 words long and contain one link to your website or social media homepage.
