Herpes Sonnet

think I might have the herpes virus

Although I suppose I cannot be sure

It is not very polite to discuss

Really I have been searching for the cure

Well, I didn’t notice it for a while

That is until I got myself tested

Probably because symptoms can be mild

By then the virus had me infested

I took Zovirax to prevent outbreaks

And famciclovir to prevent the sores

Unfortunately herpes is high stakes

So I had to visit lots of drugstores

Herpes is quite common in the US

Though using condoms and caution stops stress
