Psychopath

By Oliver Clarke

Well am I not dark enough for you?
Shall I go and get some friends?
Tell you they’re all in my head,
And they drive me around the bend.

Is that really what you want?
Some psychopath to fix,
Well remember that we’re still not perfect,
There is never a puzzle piece that truly fits.

If I stayed away, locked it all inside,
Would you try and find they key,
Or just stand idly aside,
If I told u I was deep, full of meaning, mind is steep,
Try pushing my thoughts over the edge, shouting my name, and calling me creep?

Well maybe I am a creep,
Maybe I can be deep,
Maybe my mind is really steep,
Maybe soon you will find out,
Because my wounds are about to seep.

My life may not be all that bad,
But I have shared some pains,
If it’s taught me anything,
It’s that pain is just another game,
But the prize is not worth the fame.
