Resentment

By Lost Human

Lost in plain sight,
is my will to live.
The pain i’ve caused others and to me,
i just cannot forgive.

If blessed i were with might,
I’d crush my bones to dust,
rip my heart from its confinements
and stab it with the blade of disgust.

When i see you in my dreams,
i pray to go blind in my waking.
Your voice in my head makes me
wish for my ears to start bleeding.

You lied, you cheated,
how dare you call me insecure?
Made a jest of my feelings my love,
things that completed me, things that were pure.

My heart once filled with love
when i’d think of you or your name.
Your leaving poisoned my soul,
Acid running through my veins.
