The Foolish Flamingo

By Amos Russel Wells

The foolish flamingo she looked in the glass.
Ah, foolish flamingo!
She fell in love with herself, alas!
Ah, foolish flamingo!
Her beaux all exclaimed as they left in a huff,
“The bird has one lover and one is enough!”
Ah, foolish flamingo!
