As red as the roses
As blue as the violets
As fine as the purest gold
Is the love that’s between us.

Others may scoff and scorn
Others may take it light
But the flame that’s lit between us
Keeps burning ever bright.

Herald our love to the north
Herald our love to the south
Herald our love far and wide
To all by word of mouth.
