Water Power

By Jim O'Donnell

River flowing really fast
Through towns and villages it goes past
On its way to the shore
Like all the water’s went before

All its power on the way
Used by man for centuries
Mills for cotton and for wheat
This revulsion was a treat

Still is used by man today
In every kind of way
Not just for drinking out your tap
This lives blood does more than that
