Who Am I

By Anonymous

Who am I
I often ask
Trying to put me in words
But there is no hope

I am a mortal being
Concerning myself too much about the smallest things
Racing myself closer to a faded being

But there is another part to me
It’s the energy that connects me to the rest of beings
Something that I haven’t explored or foreseen

Which me to choose is my voice
I am a mortal being with a voice
Building a bridge to share this voice
