Terms & Conditions

Our policy lasts for 30 days. If, sadly, 30 days have passed since your order, we can not grant you a refund or exchange.

In order to be considered for a refund, the item must be unused and in the same state that you have received it. It must still be in the original package.

Several forms of items are excluded from return. Perishable items, such as fruit , flowers, newspapers and magazines, can not be returned. We also may not accept items which are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous chemicals or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Book with obvious signs of use
* CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (where applicable) 
Upon receipt and review of your return, we will send you 
an email informing you that we have received your returned item. 
We will also inform you of 
the clearance or decline of your refund. 
 
If you are approved, your refund will be processed and your credit card or 
the original form of payment will be automatically credited within certain number of days.
 
Late or missing refund (if applicable)
If you haven’t got a refund yet, search your bank statement again first.
Please contact your credit card provider, it will take some time before your refund is officially released.
Next, please contact your bank. There is often some waiting time before a refund is issued.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only standard priced products can be refunded, but sadly sale items can not be refunded.

Exchanges (where applicable)
We only replace products if they are defective or damaged.sIf you need to trade it for the same piece, please give us an email at sales@pickmeuppoetry.org and send your item to Pick Me Up Poetry, West Tower, 2nd Floor, Nelson Mandela Square, Maude St, Johannesburg, 2146, South Africa

Gifts 
If the item was labelled as gift when bought and shipped directly to you, you will receive gift credit for the amount of your refund. 
Upon receipt of the returned item, gift certificate will be mailed to you. 
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
 

Shipping
To return your product, mail it your product to West Tower, 2nd Floor, Nelson Mandela Square, Maude St, Johannesburg, 2146, South Africa.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
