An Ode To A Mosquito

You’re here to keep me up all night

To chant in my ears in the light

Believe me I don’t feel lonely

I don’t need any company

In six hours I must wake up

You sing so well but please stop!

I know you’re not the kind who stings

But I can hear your whizzing wings

I’m sorry for what I must do

I have no choice I guess we’re through

It’s so hard! I can’t! Oh my Gosh!

I close my eyes and then SQUASH!
