Decisions By You

By Kritika Bhatia

Monotony becomes boring,
You need to add spice.
Whatever comes your way, take it,
The opportunities never come twice.

All of us are allotted,
A span of time.
We use or throw it,
It’s our decision whether to fade or shine.

We feel helpless,
Either financially or otherwise.
We are self-centred mostly,
But sometimes compromise.

Our destiny,
Is mostly directed by our decisions,
Our life’s problems,
Occur due to our negligence.

We should take such an action,
So as to not repent later.
Wisdom is, indeed, a gift,
That’s bestowed on all of us together.
