Gambling

By Rose Rose

‘Life is a gambling”,
gambling by fate,
o’er certain innocent souls
And I was the one,
among those innocents
I made a golden nest
With hopes and dreams
And I wanted to fly
In an azure sky
Forgetting all the blues
I dreamed not for me
But for the wingless birds
Living in my nest
And I was trying hard
to make them happy
As much as I can….
But I never thought,
That life is a gambling
But I was not a gambler
Of this spectacular casino
