Gorilla-23 By Seshendra Sharma
He alone knows the value of firewood who has submitted his child
To the merciless tongues of flames, and returns home a destroyed man,
He alone knows how the human body merges in the five elements of their philosophy.
On the day when you require the walking stick, you will realise,
the value of the coming generation.
God has lost man today; listen I tell you the day of doom to those traitors has come
Those traitors of mankind who are throwing away our children into fires of war
And into more terrible fires of life, in the name of the country and nation.
Don’t think it is just a walking stick. With all its soul in its throat, it assures
Humanity not to fear. It is from the walking stick that the great gorilla will emerge.
Gorilla is the hero who tamed the oceans; he is the master who turns life into a dog
At his feet, a rider of lions, friend of tempests, he is the prophet, he is the visionary
Who comes holding a whip, driving the winds, rattling the thunders, and throwing the clouds and treading the earth and sky wit his decisive step, he burns all
The rotten leaves with his fierce rays.
He cannot be killed. His death over which the enemy rejoices is not
The enemy’s victory. Innumerable heroes multiply from his body with
Each martyrdom the people grow one foot taller. Each drop of his blood
Which descends into the earth throws out a tree of heroes; trees with thousand branches
Bearing bombs, guns, cannon, swords, bows and arrows, spring up as dreadful gorillas
And explode the inhuman institutions of the traitors.
If you give a call, the gorilla will resound its reply,
I am here, I am here, I am here-
