Its Raining In L.A! What A Miracle! Poem

As I sit watching a movie
I here the sound of dust on the window
I can hear laughter and screams
But I don’t know why
So I get up and walk to the window
The trees they blow harder
Then I notice
ITS RAINING!
LA never gets rain
But today it is
I yell and jump for joy
Its raining!
I go out to the streets
That song that goes like this
Rain, Rain go away
Come again another day
Never will be sung
For rain is a blessing
Kids are yelling and skipping
We laugh at the rain
O’ how it makes me smile
Its raining in LA
What a miracle!
