Looking For God
By John Marrison
God sends his fog, He sends His mist,
He sends those trials that persist.
He is there, unseen but near,
Sending hope, when all is fear.
When we can’t see the way ahead,
And every sound we hear with dread.
He lifts the veil from our blind eyes,
And tears away those human lies.
God sees the whole we, see a part,
And wonder where’s the place to start.
But there is glory in the smallest things,
Those special moments each day brings.
God wants our vision to be true,
Beyond what hinders me and you.
He knows us as we really are,
Yet we’re worth more than the brightest star.
