Stars And Sea Blue

In a thoughtless sleep I seem to fall;
Everything I’ve known is lost all in all.
Solemnly, I dream of blankets in space-
Where you and I meet
Face to face.
Your eyes so pure,
Your touch so soft,
Wrap me in your arms,
For in them I’m lost!
But to only dream, In this peace I hold,
A lonliness so deep as the stars are old.
Sorrow fills my eyes
Blue as oceans and seas
Their waves crash and swoon,
As your arms embrace me.
And though I pray to wake next to you,
Until that’s days comes-
I’m strong as the stars and sea blue.
