Toxic Love

By Dark Times

Realize how no one compares to you
When intoxicated you drown out the sorrow you’ve locked a way
From seeing all those tiny little specks of gold in your eyes
I knew the moment I met you
That those three words would never come from your lips
With an toxic kiss
A sewed up heart
It all seems so clear now

I know the story you hide behind
The only thing you had was love
Until one shattered that sewed up heart of yours
I believe in the dreams you leave behind
I see the notes unfold every moment you look into my eyes
Just by seeing those beautiful brown eyes
You behold the logical reason of never saying I love you
Though I still wonder why you look into my eyes
Intoxicating me with that mysterious look
But knowing you the reason of falling for someone you knew for so long never really works out

Toxic kiss
Toxic look
Toxic love
Toxic touch
Toxic everything
Intoxication never used to work on me
For I was just the girl behind the class
Always chosen last
Never anyone’s friend
With belief Neverland and peter pan was a real place and person
But I guess being loved by you was all it took to fall
Thinking intoxication was the only way my heart would yield for moments every time you were in sight
