With regard to Afghanistan,
The Mujahideen, Taliban
And its troubled history,
Rambo III is infinitely
More accurate than the BBC.
That’s disgraceful, it seems to me!
Even the worst Hollywood dross
Exposes the apparent loss
Of real journalism in the West.
Rambo III may not be the best
Of films but it is significant
Because it delves behind the cant.
Yesterday’s ‘freedom’ resistance
Are today’s Taliban terrorists.
This film highlights that the U.S.
And its allies once supported this
Deadly, obscurantist brigade,
Whereas the BBC downgrades
Anything that provides context
And purpose. O it makes me vexed!
Here in the U.K we have to pay
A lousy license fee on pain
Of imprisonment to listen to
These brainwashed, sycophantic fools
Yet as an avid reader, I
See through all of their bullshit lies.
I don’t buy propaganda you see
Because I have a memory
That extends way beyond mere weeks.
