All Praise To God

By J.J Throne

Every creature of every kind,
And the earth upon which we trod;
Were made by hands holy and divine,
All the mercy of God.

The animal vegetable and mineral kingdom,
Season’s sickness and death which places us in the sod;
Trouble, pleasure, hell, heaven, labor and Jesus,
All the mercy of God.

Love, strength, heart and conscience,
That opens the road of duty to plod;
And all creation visible to the eye,
All the- mercy of God.

Man’s fate and heart compared to heaven,
Is but an evil nod;
He cannot thank with a true spirit,
or all the mercy of God.
