Hallucinations

By MBJ Pancras

I planted the seed of enmity at night,
And waited for my neighbour’s death,
I had a sleepless night for horros haunted me,
I woke up in the morning before the sunrise,
And found myself shrouded with weeds,
My neighbour laughed at me dying,
For the seed I planted turned against me.
Tears flowed all thro’ my cheeks;
Yet my death was certain.
