Manhood By Vernique Mapaling

Why are all men called trash?
Don’t throw us all in one stash
For those who murder and rape
Those are the ones genetically near the ape

Don’t let me suffer for being a man
Why do you smother me in this can
Full of those who have no respect and dignity
Whilst I still have a innocent quality

I don’t have blood on my fingers
Never touched gun triggers
Never held a knife
to take somebodies life

I was just a simple boy
played with his car toy
found out that there is rules to abide
but now he hears that he is on a trash ride

I know that men cause pain
but don’t cause them all to live in vain
For all men ain’t the same
So let others live free of shame
