By Gabriel Dallong

It is a long way home
And the road seem rough.
My heart searched for the road
While my eyes were fixed on the journey.
I wandered many miles from home
Searching for a place to rest my head.
What they gave me was a seed
Meant for another season.
But the rain is faraway.
It took me many years to sow and reap
But at the end, this is what I got
The eye of the star
That showed me the way back home.
My little daughter sat by the window
Calling me to come back home.
My little blessing
All because of a hard and long journey.
I witnessed her birth
It was a golden moment.
