Snowing In June Poem

By Shaun Cronick

I’ve ordered my winter woolies,
They should arrive pretty soon.
Next year’s summer to be exact,
In the scorching month of June.

Winter goods posted from China,
My woolie scarf gloves and hat.
An ebay postage mistake I made,
The due date they’ll arrive at.

But you can’t trust this climate,
When it should be hot its cold.
It’s global warming or an ice age,
Whose arrival can’t be foretold.

Better order a thick woolie coat,
From the same seller to post.
When it starts snowing in June,
I will then be warm as toast.
