Spoon And Fork Poem

By Bernard F. Asuncion

A-n early lovely morn
I-s just about to break;
L-et January twenty-fourth
E-liminate the heartache.
E-vening shadows disappear, the twilight is gone;
N-ew dawn has broken, bringing light to the horizon.

R-ise of the sun begins,
I-t’s a beautiful Tuesday;
V-ile weather turns fine,
E-ach raindrop fades away.
R-emembering your birthday doesn’t mean eating too much pork;
A-llow the vegie to prevail, just use spoon and fork.
