The Two of Us

The two of us
are like a jigsaw puzzle
no one understands,
the pieces magically fit together.
We complement one another’s life in a manner
no one can fathom,
with silly gestures
creating a lasting passion.
Like stars shining bright
in an unknown galaxy,
exploring a vast universe,
up close and personal.
Like a delicate flower blossoming
making love in the dew drops
of the early morning,
not knowing if a storm
is brewing on the horizon.
