Maybe everythng is not perfect
Maybe everything is not right, though we try to make it different
We see things in a different light, we speak in a different way
Though we look the same, other than the color of our skin
We speak in different tongues, though the meaning ends the same
I want to mix the vinegar with the oil, so to blend it
Make it into a recipe that everyone loves
To taste the ingredients of the simple things
To know the outcome will be a success, if it is tasted
By all who have doubts, the mix wll be an inspiration no doubt
Let the vinegar and oil be the people in a world bowl of salad made just right
Green, yellow, red, and purple, the earth has brought us together at last
