Virgin Island Poem

By Edward Kofi Louis

What do you want to do for love oh Virgin Island?
Tell me if you are alone and i will visit you;
For i really have a message for you oh Virgin Island.

Hold on to your virginity till you reach the peak of marriage,
For i am yours and you are mine;
And of your lovely and watery love like the ice-cream,
And down to your rivers with the windfall’s light.

You are honourable among the lovers and,
You are the sweet Virgin Island of love;
But do tell me if you are lonely and,
I will be there for you like the mid summer’s night.
