Wyoming Indian Paintbrush Poem

By Ima Ryma

Wyoming Indian Paintbrush,
The state wild flower blooming bright
Across the western landscape lush,
Red, orange and yellow blooms a sight
To behold when do catch the eye
Of travelers who do luck out
And happen to be passing by,
To brighten up the day no doubt.
Native American tribes do
Use this plant for good medicine,
Containing healing powers to
Restore a body out and in.

Mountains, valleys, plains be spanned,
Wild blooms across Wyoming land.
