Wyoming Poem
By Marilyn Lott
We drove into Wyoming
Montana was behind us now
We saw some horses grazing
Of course some herds of cows
We spent the night in Cody
Oh, what a wonderful town
Shops and museums and places
Of interest we’ve always found
Next day on to Yellowstone
Have you ever visited this state?
Well it had been so hot, you see
And the heat is what animals hate
But it rained and cooled down
And out from the forest they came
Oh how I love those Buffalo
But remember they are NOT tame
I hope some day you too can visit
Wyoming, a wonderful state
It’s from right out of the old west
