Arkansas State Of Mind Poem

Big fish in the pond
still swimming around
nobody knows
how to catch him
hard to breathe pollen
in the breeze
make you sneeze
pig in the pen
trying to find
a way out before
its hog killing time
chicken and biscuits
bacon and eggs
its breakfast time
living a simple life
is so very hard
when the world you are
living in
is so complex
standing on the edge
of the Arkansas river
looking down
upon the water.
