Construction Worker

By Marvin D Goldfarb

A construction worker building a school
reminding himself of the job he could have had if he utilized the learning tool
But he is still the bard
for working hard
Whether laying bricks or lifting steel
He is still a working wheel
he builds his muscles for lady’s appeal
with creative work to pay for rent and his next meal
He may vent about the weight of the steel
But he is doing honest work
He doesn’t beg borrow or steal
That is right he doesn’t beg borrow or steal
