Life Has It's Ups And Downs

Life has its ups and downs
Just like a mountain climber
Who struggles to reach the peak
Only to find that they’re only halfway up
And when the climber finally reaches the top
they are exalted by their accomplishment
but this feeling is so short lived
They still have to deal with coming down
Life has its ups and downs alright
It’s these ups and downs
that make me a stronger person
Strong enough to conquer anything
I’ve learned to deal with these ups and downs
I’ve learned to deal with coming down
Thanks to friends I’ve discovered
these mountains are getting smaller
They’re not mountains anymore, they’re hills
I no longer have to struggle to climb
I no longer have to worry about falling
Cus if I fall, I won’t die
I’ll just get back on my feet
and climb the next hill
