Love Letters From Nature

By Lord Strider

The windows to your soul parted with your smile
The flood gates drowned the sunshine
The soil in your cheeks have become too watered for roots
The voice of hope is stuck in your muddy face

Our scathing tongues dug craters in your heart;
An emptiness our lack of empathy has fallen into.
The fruits of your labour are green,
With leaves that can shelter your pain as your heart trudges for peace

We search for whispers in the breeze
For a semblance of kindle that will ignite healing.
Love letters from nature.
Her pages write healing on to your aura.

Mother
An abyss In God’s stomach
Held together by repenting offspring and Infant voices.
