Migraine Malaise

By Danny Draper

Strobe light trees peripheral spread
Clear vision and opaquely flashed
Inside flicking on a malignant head

Eyes perpendicular to suns descent
Glare from windows up ahead
Patchy views cause eyes effect

Headaches shell as distant storm
Blotchy outlook brains revenge
Photon stimuli dumbs as scorn

Pins and needles parts of lips
Spoonerisms every silly phrase
Nonsensical utterances trips

Paracetamol cluster bomb
Seeking darkness isolated
Sleep it off in a fragile tomb

Couple of hours shut down
Sight competes gingerly
With dry hangovers’ frown

Soon it will be normal ‘less
Stress or glare set it off
And malady ignites its hex.
