One Window Is All I Need

By Danielle Hubler

One window is all I need,
To catch what I can,
My lessons,
My adventures,
My dreams.
To finally move out into the light,
On my own path,
Grabbing everything in sight.
To accomplish my goals,
My dreams,
My life.
To see what I can become,
What I can do,
What I can achieve,
What I can do right.
The places I can go,
The things I can see,
The enlightenment I can grasp,
Maybe even set free.
So much to do,
In so little time,
I just have to remember my family is by my side.
It’s time to let go of all the selfishness and greed,
It’s time for a door to close,
Because one window is all that I need.
