Prison Of Darkness

By Davina Vanessa Rivas

A prison of darkness
A cold dark place
Where you can never sleep
For you hear the yelling
Of the other inmates
The only way out is death
No family or friends
To come and visit
Trap in a jail cell
Comfort by your own loneliness
Talking to no one but the shadows
Looking to the outside world
Through a hole that becomes your window
The guards that walk back and forth
On the walk way
They say they are not human
But they are demons
Laughing at us for we look like wild animals
Who wish to just start over
But no, for we are their entertainment
We are their wild animals
Who just made a wrong mistake
And now being punish for it
In no other place
but Hell
