The Great Depression

By Ryan Hopkins

Depression its a confession, a confession that is real, a confession your not happy, with the emotions that you feel.

Depression is a reaction that requires some URGENT ACTION.

But what action can I take to beat this mental state? 🤔.

The action you can take and it goes without debate is to look into a mirror and get rid of all the hate.

You’re looking at a reflection a reflection that is you, a reflection of a miracle and the miracle is true.

YOU GOTTA STAND UP NOW AND LEARN TO FIGHT, AND CAST DEPRESSION OUT OF SIGHT!.

Look upon the stars at night, look at how they shine so bright, take this wonder in your sight use it as a guiding light.

Learn to write about how you feel and give your heart the time to heal.

Talk to those who you can trust, they’ll help your depression turn to dust.

Dance and sing to your favourite song, forget about where things went wrong.

Because life is simple short and sweet, and your depression you can beat.
