The Security Guard

By Irfan Ali

In a blue uniform
Like a dead stone
He is standing at the gate
He has less chance to be late
Staring all with care
On an uncomfortable chair
In hot summer without a cloud
He is not permitted inside
He is not allowed
On Friday prayer break is given
He is asked to stay for security reason
He is always thinking deep
Answering painful questions that beep
There is big gap between human and humanity
One is created to be secure other for security
But people forget there is no surety
They involved themselves in a fraud
They appointed dead men as security guard
