My soul is split in two,
And drowned in the ocean that separates us.
It is the waves of sadness that push me under,
Crushing me with despair.
Trying to stay afloat,
Gasping for air.
Until I see the light,
The shining light of you.
To give me hope and strength,
To save me,
To pull me through.
