Saint Thomas, the Gem of the Caribbean
And one of the most attractive places
In the West Indies, opens its doors and
Native hospitality to those who wish
To spend some leisure time on her soil.
The healthfulness of this beautiful island
Has been attested to by eminent physicians
Outdoor sports, such as golfing, fishing & swimming
May be indulged in while the snow is falling
And folks are shivering in the North. For recreation, one
Should find here the gratification of their every desire.
In leaving St. Thomas, after a sojourn, a person
Should carry away pleasant remembrances
Long to be cherished, while the
Enchanted isle will never cease–
To bid the traveller come and see,
The beauty of her scenes,
Where the shifting sand on coral strand,
In the land of pleasant dreams.
