Growth And Development

By Walterrean Salley

Getting taller every day,
Blossoming along the way.
More of beauty, and less hype;
Developing your unique type.

Note the flowers for example:
Seeds planted in the soil
Neither grow, nor develop
Without a bit of toil.

Whether a child maturing,
Or a parent full of pride,
An enterprise—just begun,
Or a business venturing wide,

For every little effort
Mid verdant strides each day,
There’ll be growing pains
All along the way.
